Glassophy exclusive - Re:Born

Re:Born is a special collaboration with Glassophy where I merged my artistic vision with the science of ink and product design.
I designed a custom font where historical serif structures meet the precision. By contrasting sweeping, ornate flourishes with solid, grounded silhouettes, the typography serves as both a decorative signature and a firm anchor for a ethereal narrative.
This design is an exploration of human longing and metamorphosis, anchored in the story of Psyche’s grace and the persistent pulse of romance. To mirror the butterfly’s secret perspective, I infused the dawning-dream pigments with a hidden UV-activated shimmer, merging the tactile beauty of ink with the invisible poetry of light.
Designing the composition of the main artwork was an exercise in narrative layering. I experimented with various layouts, ultimately landing on a tapestry-like approach.
If you look closely at the final version, it is a journey. I put together the different chapters of Psyche’s odyssey, the impossible trials, the desperate rescue by Cupid, and the ultimate triumph of receiving the ambrosia.
Each line serves as a path through her struggle and toward her eventual rebirth into immortality.
The ink is envisioned as Ambrosia, the divine reward for Psyche after her trials, celebrating her resilience and rebirth through the motif of the butterfly, while delicate flowers—metaphors for Psyche herself—encircle an arrow representing her enduring romance with Cupid.
Designed as a four-sided illustration, the illustration creates an illusion that the bottle holds in your hand, transforming a vessel into a living, mythic artefact.
