Pull open the traditional Begonia window grilles, swatch your inks, and watch local Hong Kong flora bloom before your eyes.
The cards are pure white until you paint them.
Use water-based inks or other media to bring the design to life.
Each card features a special water-resistant layer. When you brush ink over it, the water-based ink resists the pattern, revealing native Hong Kong flowers like the Bauhinia, Grantham's camellia, and Long-leaved Euonymus.

Premium British-made paper resists feathering, handles light washes of water, and beautifully showcases ink sheen, shading and chroma.
The storage box is made of translucent paper featuring a classic begonia window grille pattern, letting you peek at your swatches from the outside.
Each box includes 40 ink swatch cards.

Important Tips:
Best Results: Use water-based inks/pigments. Other mediums like acrylics will not activate the water-resistant reveal effect.
Care Instructions: The translucent storage box material is sensitive to moisture; it can curl and turn opaque if it gets wet. Store in a cool, dry place and handle with care.
Animal patterned postcard inspired by the tessellations from M.C. Escher, printed by the Hong Kong-based vintage letterpress company Aoto Letterpress.
M.C. Escher's quilting pattern created his unique style, and we took his inspiration and used animals to make our original animal pattern. Did you see how many little guys were hiding in there?
This time, we cooperated with Aoto Letterpress, a local antique letterpress printing company in Hong Kong, to challenge the limits of letterpress printing, fine printing textures as small as 0.1mm, while retaining the vintage charm of letterpress printing. Made of 500gsm cotton card stock, it is fountain pen proof and can withstand light watercolour washes.
