Solar · fountain pen ink
About
Hi, Lucia here!
I paint with fountain pen ink — the same ink that fills a pen and writes a letter, asked to do something slower.
Born in Hong Kong and now working in the UK, I let each piece carry a little of both places, and a little of whatever I needed healing from at the time.
Ink rarely goes where I plan. It blooms, bleeds, and gathers into sheen at the edges, and somewhere in that small chaos the picture finds itself. I’ve learned to trust that.
Most of what I make is botanical, mythological, or quietly whimsical, drawn with an Art Nouveau hand. Behind all of it sits one idea: art as a remedy. If something here gives you a moment of calm, wherever you are, it has done what I hoped.
